First of all, if any of you need help creating macros let me know. At the same time I am not a macro writing expert. Most of what I know has been from reading forums or suggestions from others.
These two macros can be used anytime you have a shackle target regardless of the fight and I have found it very useful.
MACRO 1 /focus Highlight the mob i want shackled and click that macro before starting the fight.
MACRO 2 /cast [target=focus] shackle undead; /target lasttarget this will shackle who you highlight as the focus and then target your previous target
Put both of them on your toolbar for this fight (or permanently if you have space). Target your shackle victim and click macro 1, when it's time for shackling, hit macro 2.
Now here is the awesome part. You can click Macro 2 to cast AND recast shackle without targeting the shackle first. It will also re-target your previous target to continue healing if necessary.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON MOROES ADDS YOU SHACKLE: you should use Macro 2 and recast it after every 2-3 casts on other targets. If you are a holy priest I would say make it 2 casts whereas a shadow priest can get 3 casts off.
If these shackles break it will be difficult to win the fight for various reasons. Don't let these shackles break. Having +hit will help keep the shackles on longer as well.
